How much does a yacht charter cost?

We have charter packages starting at $900 for two guests, and $2,000 for groups. The cost of your charter will depend on several factors including the size of your group, the selected boat, the duration of the charter, and any specific services you request.

What’s the weather like?

Boating on San Francisco Bay is an experience like nothing else!  While Bay Area air temperatures can soar during the day, the water temperatures range from the low-50’s in winter, to mid-60’s in summer.  Winds are typically milder in the morning as the marine layer fog burns off, then strong sea breezes with lots of sunshine usually dominate the afternoon. 

What should we bring?

Sunglasses, sunblock, a jacket with layered clothing, a hat, comfortable flat shoes, and a refillable water bottle are strongly suggested.  Have your phone fully charged as there will be numerous photo opportunities.

What food & beverages can we bring?

As part of your charter, the boat will be stocked with complimentary energy bars, sodas, sparkling waters, water, and a cooler with ice.  Help us stay ‘green’ to reduce waste as we are happy to refill reusable water bottles.  White & rosé wine, canned hard seltzers, canned beer, and champagne are fine to bring. 

You are welcome to bring easy-to-eat sandwich wraps, etc. but remember our time on the water will be just a few hours.  Most guests are fine with simple snacks during our voyage as full meals are best back on land.  For guests with unique dietary restrictions, we ask that you bring everything necessary to last a few hours on the Bay.

What items are prohibited?

No bananas (bad luck!), hard liquor, red wine, glassware, controlled substances, smoking, vaping, black soled or heeled shoes, weapons, pets, drones, or fishing equipment.

Can we bring children?

We love young kids, but we have a minimum guest age of 8 years old.  Note that California law requires children under the age of 13 to wear a life jacket (USCG approved PFD) at all times on the boat.  Our fleet of boats are stocked with appropriate sized PFD’s for all guests ages 8+.

Safety is our highest priority.  Our hand-picked network of US Coast Guard licensed captains & skilled crew are the best yachtsmen to ensure a safe and memorable experience.
